MAY 2026 Update:
Hi Friends,
Here comes summer! I find it hard to believe we’re wrapping up another school year with the slew of finals, graduation ceremonies, weekend parties, and excitement building for the summer season. It has been an absolute joy working alongside such a fantastic team of staff and volunteer leaders here in the Boise area this spring semester. We all witnessed some truly remarkable things!
One night, while filling in for another staff person in Boise, I had the privilege of giving the “Resurrection” club talk for the final night of Boise High Young Life this spring. It was a last minute change, and so my normal club talk preparation rhythm was thrown way off, which left me feeling a bit overwhelmed and underprepared when Monday afternoon came around. But, in a short drive home from lunch, I was reminded that the Name of Jesus is all-sufficient, and that I could trust Him for what I was meant to say (and do) that night.
By God’s great power and love, the Boise High team and I saw NINE students give their lives to Jesus for the first time! Not only that, we also heard of 16 other students that week from different clubs also step out and put their faith in Jesus. I still smile and tear up a bit when I think about what happened. What a way to end a semester!
That week was an amazing reminder that what we do in Young Life really does matter. There are lots of reasons we show up in the lives of kids, but our hearts yearn for moments like what we saw in clubs that week; helping young people go from “death” to “LIFE” in Jesus.
This wasn’t the only place where God broke through with grace and joy. He certainly worked wonders everywhere I looked, and I know this is in large part a result of your prayers and faithful support of Young Life in the Boise area. Here are a few other highlights:
As of March 25th, Borah Young Life has a FULL TEAM (but there’s always room for more to join!). Together, we are eager to jump into the fall semester ready to reach that campus with the love of Jesus!
This spring we hosted several interest meetings for both Borah and Timberline, which was a big goal for this year. These meetings allowed us to cast the vision for Young Life in those school areas, meet new families, and begin building networks of support. Your partnership and prayers have helped launch the hard and humble work of laying a fresh foundation for relational ministry in the Borah and Timberline neighborhoods.
For our final event of the spring semester on Monday - May 4th, we hosted an all-area Young Life “Clubble,” aka, Club in a giant inflated plastic bubble we constructed out of hundreds of feet of clear painter’s plastic and miles of duct tape. Inside, over 150 students played mixers, messy games and made memories with our annual Paint War. It was truly epic!
With that, let me offer a huge THANK YOU for your support this semester! I couldn’t do this without you, and you deserve to share in the joys and victories of this new adventure.
(Again, my goal is have this webpage be a landing place to bring you, my faithful friends and generous ministry partners, encouraging updates and God stories.)
Thank you for linking arms with me and our staff team in Boise. We move into the summer and next school year ahead with joy, expectation, and trust that God will continue writing incredible stories in the lives of young people across our city.
Grateful to be in this with you,
Nick Binsacca

SE BOISE YOUNG LIFE BOOSTER TEAMS
One of our more pressing initiatives as we launch new ministries in the Borah and Timberline areas is the development of neighborhood BOOSTER TEAMS.
These are networks of caring adults who PRAY, PROVIDE and PROMOTE the work of Young Life, supporting volunteer leaders and being a crucial sustaining presence in their local school area. If you’d like to learn more about our BOOSTER TEAMS and get involved, check out this linked PAGE or send us an EMAIL.
Stories of Impact
Going into high school, I felt incredibly lonely. I had lost all my friends and ended up in a group where I didn’t fit in. Most of my time was spent working or sleeping, and even though I went to church on Sundays, I felt far from God. I didn’t share the same values as the people around me, and I was missing real community.
I had been to Young Life a few times before, so I decided to give it another shot. The first time I came back, I felt genuinely welcomed. I didn’t really know the leaders, and I only knew a handful of students—but something was different. As I kept going, I made friends who actually wanted to be around me, and those friendships carried over into school. I started following God more closely, too.
Young Life quickly became a huge part of my life. Mondays were the best days of the week—and they still are.
This past summer, I went to camp for the first time. When people say it’s “the best week of your life,” they’re not kidding. I felt so much peace being in nature with people I loved and who loved me. We did daily Bible studies, and club at camp felt like a normal club—just amplified. That week changed my life.
Looking back, I can see that my season of loneliness was actually a season of growth. It taught me that God is always a God who moves toward you.
So seriously… come to Young Life!

LOOKING FORWARD 2026
LOOKING FORWARD 2026
GOD IS MOVING IN SE BOISE. and the best is yet to come.
As we press forward in 2026, we’re praying big, bold prayers for Young Life in the Borah and Timberline areas — that more kids would be reached, more leaders would step into the mission, and more schools would experience the hope of Jesus through Young Life. Please join me in prayer over these
2026-2027 goals:
Launching new ministries: Borah Young Life, and Timberline WyldLife or Young Life
Develop a healthy network of support through local booster teams of caring adults who PRAY, PROVIDE and PROMOTE the work of Young Life in their neighborhood.
Recruit and develop teams of volunteer leaders to walk alongside students in newly developed ministries. Current needs:
Borah WyldLife — a full team of 4-6 adults
Timberline — a full team (Young Life: 8 adults, or WyldLife: 4-6 adults)
As of March 25th, Borah Young Life has a FULL TEAM (but there’s always room for more to join!)
Financial Needs: $2,500 in club start up costs | $1,000 in monthly giving
Grow our Local Board by adding TWO new members from each school community (Borah and Timberline; at least 4 total)
Strengthening our partnership with local churches, working together to bring the hope of Jesus to every campus
Increase personal monthly giving by $250 / month
Thank you for helping us build what’s next. Together, we are creating a foundation for more students to be known, loved, and introduced to Jesus.
JOIN THE YOUNG LIFE BoisE MISSION
THANK YOU for YOUR PARTNERSHIP
Your generosity is what fuels this mission. Every prayer, every dollar, every time we get to show up where kids are, God uses it to help students experience the hope and love of Jesus.
You’re investing in generational transformation. When a teenager meets Jesus, it doesn’t just change their story today; it changes their story forever. It shapes the trajectory of their future, their friendships, and even the family they’ll have someday.
Thank you for making an eternal impact possible in the lives of Students across Boise.
